Learning disability

The learning disability (LD) pathway provides care and treatment for adults with mild to moderate learning disabilities and other neuro-developmental disorders who have offended or have challenging behaviour.

The pathway includes specialist assessment and management for personality disorder, mental illness and more complex neuro-developmental disorders.

The LD pathway aims to empower patients, helping them to gain life skills to ensure a successful transition to the community. It provides a range of adapted treatment and offence-related specialist services in Northampton and Nottinghamshire.
