Our Academic Library provides specialist information services for staff, students and volunteers working in mental health, learning disability, autism, brain injury and neurological impairment.
We are members of several inter-library loan schemes which enables us to obtain books and articles held by other libraries.
Our library has internet access, which is available to book in sessions of one hour. We also offer workshops on searching the internet and on-line healthcare databases.
External users are welcome to access our reference facilities (please make an appointment).
If you would like information on using our facilities, or borrowing books, please contact us.
Our extensive collection consists of works on developmental disability, mental health, brain injury and other related disciplines. We also have a historical collection available for loan and a variety of journals for reference use.
Our opening hours
We are open Monday to Friday, 10.00am until 5.00pm. We are closed at weekends and Bank Holidays.
We are based in Ivy Cottage, on the Northampton site. Our full address is:
